The Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement Office (SOLE) advises and supports UCLA’s student-led organizations, including groups specifically designed to welcome and empower transfer students. With over 1,000 active student groups on campus, SOLE helps Bruins find communities aligned with their interests, identities, and academic goals.

Within this vibrant network are numerous transfer-specific and transfer-inclusive organizations, each dedicated to fostering community, advocacy, and connection among UCLA’s diverse transfer student population.

If you don’t see an organization that meets your interests or goals, SOLE can also help you start your own! The registration process for new student groups occurs quarterly, typically with a short registration window—so plan ahead and connect with SOLE early.
